Accommodations Assistant-Canteen Cook

Fondomonte is seeking a dependable, hardworking team member to support both employee accommodations and canteen operations. This hands-on position combines facility cleaning and upkeep with meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, inventory support, and employee service. The successful candidate will be flexible, safety-minded, organized, and ready to shift between duties as operational needs change.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain employee accommodations, offices, restrooms, common areas, and canteen facilities.


• Prepare hot and cold employee meals according to menus, recipes, portion standards, and schedules.


• Follow food-safety, sanitation, storage, labeling, temperature-control, and cross-contamination prevention procedures.


• Maintain organized work areas and monitor food, beverage, cleaning, and operating supplies.


• Report repair needs, unsafe conditions, damaged furnishings, and equipment concerns promptly.


• Support meal-purchase records, inventory documentation, deliveries, and supply rotation as assigned.


• Move between accommodation and canteen duties during the same shift when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old.


• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Experience in food preparation, commercial cooking, housekeeping, janitorial work, or facility cleaning is preferred.


• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler Card within the required timeframe.


• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and customer-service skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Availability for varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and additional hours based on operational needs.

Physical and Work Requirements

This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting to 50 pounds, and frequent walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive movement. The employee must be able to safely handle hot food, cookware, kitchen equipment, cleaning products, and sanitation materials, and work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
