Account Director, Corporate Reputation

MikeWorldWide is seeking a well-rounded senior communications professional in its New Jersey-based offices. This individual would oversee and implement multiple accounts in a variety of industries and coordinate related staff assignments.

Agency experience is preferred, but individuals with experience in managing multiple communications programs simultaneously will be considered. The candidate should have extensive background and capabilities in media relations and account management of multi-faceted communications programs – including strong understanding of social and digital.

Seeking an individual with strong capabilities in both English and Spanish – verbal and written. The candidate should be prepared to provide samples of written materials – press releases, alerts, op-eds, memos, or other documents – that illustrate the individual’s experience.

In addition to expertise in proactively engaging media at all levels (national, regional, trade), the position requires the ability to envision and implement multi-faceted marketing and communications programs.

Candidates also should have strong writing skills, in the areas of marketing communications, public affairs and thought leadership. Writing should be articulate, professional and compelling – moving audiences to action. Those interested should be prepared to provide writing samples and case studies of programs managed and implemented by the candidate.

The individual selected will be working with a multi-talented team who conducts programs in a wide range of disciplines and a broad range of industries. While this position will focus on Corporate Communications, Thought Leadership and B-to-B Marketing, opportunities exist for training and involvement in other disciplines such as issues management.

Candidates will be client facing and expected to participate in meetings virtually and in person within the New York Metropolitan Area – primarily in New Jersey.

Experience in Health Care – hospital, pharma, biotech, benefits plans – a strong plus.
