Job Description - Account Executive - Field Sales Trainer
Summary: The Field Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the effectiveness, product knowledge, and selling skills of the field sales organization. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Education to ensure consistent execution of brand strategy and sales excellence across assigned territories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver structured onboarding programs for new sales representatives, including product education, systems training, and selling methodology
Conduct in-field coaching sessions to improve sales performance, territory management, and customer engagement skills
Lead regional training workshops, virtual learning sessions, and sales meetings
Reinforce ZO Skin Health brand standards, product positioning, and clinical messaging in the field
Partner with Sales Leadership to identify performance gaps and develop targeted training plans
Support product launches by training field teams on positioning, competitive landscape, and key selling points
Evaluate training effectiveness through ride-alongs, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Education, and Sales Operations to ensure alignment on tools, messaging, and training materials
Maintain updated training materials and field resources
Travel extensively within assigned regions to support field teams
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree required
3 to 5 years of field sales experience, preferably within medical aesthetics, skincare, or related industry
Prior training, coaching, or facilitation experience preferred
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and coach sales professionals
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to travel up to 50 to 70 percent
Work Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms.
Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. The position resides in Orange County but is hybrid with 2 days being remote work.
Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or negligible amounts of force frequently, to move objects. This job also requires constant sitting. Constant use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, and position tools and equipment. The employee must know and follow proper safety protocols and maintain a professional and polished appearance.
