What You Will Do:
The Account Manager primary focus will be on the Cooper portfolio products and services and will be responsible for the following:
Sales Focus:Drive the sales of Reciprocating products, services, and parts, with an emphasis on reciprocating engines and compressors.
Customer Engagement:Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Solution Communication:Present and promote Cooper’s innovations and technology solutions to address customer operational challenges.
Strategy Development:Formulate and execute a sales strategy for targeted clients to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
Collaboration:Partner with technical sales support to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction.
CRM Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics on a daily basis.
Travel:Commit to approximately 70% travel within the assigned area to engage with customers and support sales efforts.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred
3+ years of experience in account management
Knowledge of reciprocating engines, compressors, pumps, or related oilfield production equipment
Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with customers
Reciprocating compressor and engine experience
Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Dynamics (CRM), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Commitment to safety, customer service quality and to work in team-oriented environment
