We have a need for an Accountant for our direct client in Newark, DE for a 12 month contract. The ideal candidate must have experience on Interface with the Delivery Line of Business to assure accurate charging to capital projects. Interface with the Delivery Line of Business to assure timely closing of projects to plant in service. Participate in the monthly closing process preparing journal entries as required. Participate in the quarterly and annual closing process by providing information to and responding to requests from external or internal auditors. Assist in the preparation of the FERC quarterly or annual filings. Perform account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of reports for Regulatory Affairs. Assist in preparation of depreciation studies. Respond to data requests from Regulatory Commissions, the Internal Revenue Service and/or others. Support the departments requirements under Sarbanes Oxley.
