What You'll Do as an Accounting & Office Administrator
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and customer account follow-up to maintain healthy cash flow and accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation that provide ownership with timely and reliable financial insight.
- Oversee QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems to ensure accurate transactions, reporting, and financial integrity.
- Support year-end accounting activities by organizing records and collaborating with external accounting partners as needed.
- Improve financial and administrative processes by developing procedures, identifying efficiencies, and helping establish scalable systems for future growth.
- Coordinate office administration activities that keep daily operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly.
- Assist with HR administration, onboarding activities, employee records, and personnel documentation to support a positive employee experience.
- Partner directly with ownership on operational projects, workplace organization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen the business.
Our Ideal Accounting & Office Administrator
- Accounting Experience: Brings 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliations, with the ability to maintain accurate records and financial integrity.
- Technical & Professional Expertise: Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred) and Microsoft Office; payroll experience, HR administration experience, process improvement experience, and an accounting or business degree are valued additions.
- Integrity: Demonstrates honesty, confidentiality, and sound judgment when handling financial information and business decisions.
- Organized Professional: Maintains accurate records, follows through on commitments, and creates structure in a fast-paced environment.
