Accounting Clerk

Parallel Employment is seeking a Account Clerk to support our client's finance department in Darien! This Accounting Clerk position involves managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

Wage: $20.00-$22.00 hourly, DOE.

Reliable, steady Full-Time work schedule.

Accounting Clerk Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with general office tasks and answering phones
• Work closely with management and ensure vendors are paid
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and ensure all digital records are backed up

• Related field preferred
• Proven Accounting Clerk experience, typically 2+ years
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills
• A sharp eye for discrepancies and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
