Accounting Clerk/Payroll

St. Louis CDJR is searching for the right person to join our admin office.  In this vital role, you will manage various accounting functions, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support our dealership's financial operations with precision and professionalism.  Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently,

Job Duties

• Automotive dealership experience required


• Assist with reconciling funded deals and receivables


• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations


• Enter data accurately into accounting software such as Google Docs, Excel, Tekion, Netchex, etc


• Assist with month-end closing procedures, journal entries, and account analysis


• Process premium payments and product cancellations


• Process weekly/semimonthly payroll


• Process employee on boarding

Requirements

• Ability to perform detailed data entry, account reconciliation, and journal entries with high accuracy


• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support financial services functions


• Strong  attention to detail and ability to work with high transaction volume


• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Minimum of 2 years of billing,accounting, or office administration experience (automotive dealership experience strongly preferred)
