• Lead all operations related to the accounting department including month-end close, general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliation, daily settlement reporting, treasury, and payables
• Manage and execute the monthly financial close process including preparation and delivery of financial reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders
• Possess thorough working knowledge of US GAAP, technical accounting standards, and internal controls
• Mentor and review accounting deliverables of junior team members
• Partner closely with the Finance team by providing key insights and visibility into financial results
• Continuously evaluate areas for process improvement and automation
• Proven capability to streamline processes and build out accounting processes for new products
• Lead annual audit and tax filings to completion
• Other duties and ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities, including state financials and quarterly investor financials preparation

• Minimum of 7 years experience in the corporate accounting department in public companies, Big 4 accounting firms, or high-growth companies
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA required
• Prior experience with fair value accounting and secured debt facilities
• Experience with NetSuite
• Strong Excel skills
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills and comfort with making data-driven decisions
• Comfortable with ambiguity and possess a ‘figure it out & get it done’ mentality
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
