Accounting Manager

• Oversee activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely preparation of internal and external financial statements.
  


• Oversee activities related to cash disbursements, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, and employee expense reports.
  


• Oversee activities of the billing and cash collection process to ensure the accurate and timely management of all A/R aging components.
  


• Coordination/oversight/reconciliation of physical inventories.
  


• Ability to adjust to other duties, responsibilities and activities that may be changed or assigned as needed with or without notice.
  


• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline required. 
  


• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance function, experience in a manufacturing location strongly preferred.
  


• SEC experience strongly preferred.
  


• Experience with bill of materials, inventory valuation, and costing strongly preferred.
  


• Excellent skills in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  


• ​Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
