Accounting Manager – Community Healthcare System | Puget Sound Region (On-Site)

A well-established community healthcare system is seeking an Accounting Manager for their team. 

About the Role
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager owns the accuracy and maintenance of the organization’s financial records. Day to day, you’ll oversee Accounts Payable and General Ledger operations, support month-end and year-end close, and coordinate audits and cost reports. You’ll also maintain accounting policies and internal controls in line with GAAP and healthcare regulations, oversee Medicare/Medicaid compliance, and hire, supervise, and develop the accounting staff.

Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, fully on-site. Salary is $118K–$140K.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years supervising staff
• Strong background in internal controls and financial reporting
• Hospital or healthcare accounting experience
• Knowledge of union payroll practices and labor contract compliance
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and cost reporting
• CPA a plus
