Accounting Specialist

Conewago is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist is a key member of the Accounting Department responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations across multiple business units. This role requires a detail-orientated individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of accounting functions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and eager to grow within the organization. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable - process and review vendor invoices 


• Credit Card Administration - Process monthly credit card transactions & reconcile statements


• Billings for multiple divisions - Prepare and process customer billings for Ready Mix & Mobile Plant operations


• Cash Receipts - Post and reconcile cash receipts


• Control Estimates - Import and manage Control Estimates for Construction and Manufacturing divisions
  

Qualifications: 

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field - or equivalent work experience


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook); strong Excel skills preferred


• General computer literacy with the ability to learn new software systems quickly


• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills


• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment


• Effective written and verbal communication skills
