consulting company in Dallas, TX to hire an experienced Accounting/Finance
Analyst to join a high-growth team focused on helping organizations improve
their business through successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.
The Accounting/Finance Analyst will support a broad range
of accounting, financial reporting, payroll, and human resources functions.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the
Accounting/Finance Analyst will support financial reporting, General Ledger
activities, Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting, cash management, SAP
data entry and reporting, and payroll processing.
In this role, you will also assist with new employee
onboarding and other Finance and Human Resources initiatives as needed
Schedule: Full-Time | In Office – 5 days a week (required)
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver recurring financial and
management reports
- Assist with Income Statement and Balance Sheet
preparation, review, and analysis
- Support cash management activities including,
reporting, monitoring, and reconciliation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
activities
- Maintain the General Ledger, including journal
entries, reconciliations, and financial transaction reviews
- Research and resolve General Ledger discrepancies
and accounting issues
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data in SAP
- Develop, maintain, and distribute SAP financial
reports
- Review SAP data for accuracy, completeness, and
consistency
- Identify financial trends, variances, and unusual
transactions and provide analysis
- Support the preparation of financial information
used by the company leadership for business planning and decision-making
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable,
expenses, and other accounting activities
- Support company payroll preparation and processing
- Review payroll information for accuracy and
completeness prior to processing
- Process employee payroll updates, including new
hires, compensation changes, and deductions
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Support new employee onboarding, including
payroll, accounting, and administrative requirements
- Ensure accurate entry of new employee information
into company systems
- Collaborate with Human Resources and internal
teams to support effective onboarding
- Maintain financial, payroll, and employee records
while protecting confidential information
- Assist with audits, financial reviews, and
accounting requests
- Develop and maintain financial and accounting
processes, documentation, and controls
- Provide ad hoc Finance and Human Resources support
as requested by leadership
- Support special projects and business requests
requiring financial, accounting, payroll, or HR analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve financial
processes, reporting, data integrity, and operational efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or
related field; Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of professional accounting and/or finance
experience
- CPA preferred
- SAP experience required
- Financial reporting and General Ledger experience
- Knowledge of Income Statement and Balance Sheet
accounting
- Cash management and account reconciliation
experience
- Payroll processing and employee payroll
transaction experience
- Experience generating and analyzing ERP financial
reports
