We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. What You'll Do

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate customer invoicing and timely cash application while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Record and apply customer payments received through lockbox and mail.


• Review invoices for accuracy before processing.


• Investigate customer deductions and obtain approvals for allowances.


• Issue credit memos for returns, damages, and other adjustments.


• Work directly with customers and brokers to resolve invoicing issues and delinquent accounts.


• Maintain accurate customer account records.


• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.


• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


• 1–3 years of Accounts Payable, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related experience.


• Strong analytical and organizational skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.


• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.
