We are seeking an Entry Level detailed oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.  This role will process accounts payable and collaborate with other members of the Finance Department. Committed to our culture and actively supports all BIG Service initiatives.

Location:  The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
Hours:  Full-time:  Monday - Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)


Job Responsibilities



  • Process and enter vendor invoices for payment, including comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.  

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.  

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable data entry and payment runs.  

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts and monthly vendor statements to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted.  

  • Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities and processes stop-payment orders as needed.  

  • Review vendor statements to ensure that all expenses are accurately accounted for in the correct period.  

  • Reports Meals & Rentals Tax.  

  • Maintain accounts payable documentation and records.  

  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.). 

  • Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.  

  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers.  Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly filed and secured.

  • Fulfill full-cycle Accounts Payable functions.  

  • Provide support to internal departments and Finance Team.  

  • Manage daily department mail by opening, sorting and distributing it to the proper department head.  

  • Code invoices to proper General Ledger accounts.  

  • Research and resolve invoice and vendor account discrepancies and report to Accounts Payable Manager.  

  • Assist with training/mentoring of new Team Members as requested.

  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.  

  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.   














                          Education and Minimum Requirements 



                          • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.  

                          • 2-3 years of working in bookkeeping or accounts payable positions, preferred.  

                          • Proficiency with computer software. 

                          • Must be 21 years of age or older. 

                          • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks. 

                          • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy. 

                          • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license. 


                          Physical/Mental Working Demands 



                          • Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.  

                          • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.  

                          • Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co-workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone. 

                          • Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide information and assistance in a professional and accurate manner.  

                          • Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens. 

                          • Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and it can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
