Accounts Payable Clerk

Bill Dodge Auto Group is a family-owned automotive group, proudly serving our communities for over 50 years. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing accounting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with General Ledger accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting a fast-paced business. While automotive accounting experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Process invoices, purchase orders and company credit card transactions daily


• Reconcile monthly vendor statements for accurate and timely payments


• Process vendor payments via traditional payment methods along with online payment portals and ACH


• Maintain accounts payable accounting schedules and supporting documentation


• Review and reconcile accounting schedules for accuracy


• Perform General Ledger accounting functions, including reconciliations and journal entries


• Support management and other team members with accounting-related tasks

What We're Looking For

• Previous accounting or finance experience required


• Verifiable General Ledger accounting experience required


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel


• Automotive accounting experience is a plus

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred


• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and information


• Ability to work effectively in an office environment


• Strong data entry and 10-key skills preferred
