Job Summary
The Accounts Payable (AP) position supports the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems by processing payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner. We are looking to add an experienced automotive Accounts Payable person to our growing accounting office that serves multiple locations.
Essential Functions
- Process and reconcile manufacturers statements
- Extensive data entry
- Other miscellaneous duties are assigned during the month or for closeout.
- Research and resolve and discrepancies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependability
- Interacts with vendors to verify billings
- Responsible for ensuring all billings are accurate and paid in time
- Responsible for cleaning schedules
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Dealership experience strongly preferred
- Must understand debits/credits and possess basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to be organized, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- A go-getter that will take charge and be able to manage their workload with a positive attitude
- Must work well with others and have good verbal and written communication skills
- Auto Dealership Accounting skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Typing proficiency
- Organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependability
Travel Requirements
No travel required
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
Environmental Conditions
This position will work in an air-conditioned office, but may be required to conduct business outdoors with customers as needed
