Activities Assistant - Driver

GenCare Lifestyle at the Ballard Landmark in Seattle is a Premier IL/AL Senior Living Community. We currently have an opening for Activities Assistant / Driver. Must have a kind, patient attitude as you will be assisting Senior Living Residents live a more purposeful life.

FULL TIME BENEFITS:

Base Medical plan is 99% employer paid, Dental, Vision and Life at the employees expense, Paid sick (1 hour for every 40 worked, able to roll over max of 56 hours) and 6 paid holidays per year plus a paid day off for your birthday, one week vacation after one year employment, with an additional week beginning in year 2 finally with an additional week starting in the 47th month for a total of 3 weeks, quarterly raises for hourly employees, 401K eligible after 6 months with up to a 4% employer match after one year of employment, up to 3 days of bereavement and up to 5 days jury leave, First Choice Health Employee Assistance Program, free CEU’s, annual license reimbursement, Free meal at work.

GenCare Lifestyle at Ballard Landmark, a premier Seattle active retirement and assisted living community is seeking an activity assistant/driver.

Must have experience or willing to be trained to operate a 12-seat minibus with a wheelchair lift.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is outgoing, creative and that wants to stay active! The position is scheduled for Tuesday- Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off.

All candidates are required to have a current WA Driver’s License and a clean driving record in order to be considered for this position. 

You will be required to provide a copy of your driver's abstract at the time of the interview and pass a background check if hired.
