At Centerville Post Acute, we believe meaningful activities are essential to quality of life. We are seeking a passionate, organized Activity Director to lead a resident-centered program that supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

What You’ll Do

• Design and lead engaging, resident-focused activity programs tailored to individual interests and needs

• Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar including group events, outings, and in-room activities

• Encourage independence and participation through hobbies, crafts, reading, and self-directed activities

• Supervise and support activity staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

• Partner with residents, families, and the community to enhance programming and engagement

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

• Participate in care planning, quality improvement initiatives, surveys, and resident councils

What We’re Looking For

• Activity Director certification, or

• Two or more years of experience in long-term care activities, or

• Degree in recreational therapy or a related field such as therapeutic recreation or gerontology

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of seniors
