Preferred Experience
Employment litigation experience in state and federal courts
Strong background in ADA compliance, accessibility litigation, and disability discrimination matters, including advisory and litigation work
Annual billable requirement: 1,800 hours (designed to support work/life balance)
Hybrid schedule: Associates spend their first month primarily in-office to integrate with the team; flexible hybrid work available thereafter

Requirements
3-10+ years’ experience
License/Certification:
Active California State Bar License (Required)
Draft motions, oppositions, reply briefs, and attend hearings in state and federal courts and arbitration forums
Prepare for and take depositions
Draft and respond to discovery, including subpoenas
Prepare settlement agreements and other litigation-related agreements
Support first-chair attorneys before, during, and after trial, including preparation of pretrial filings, motions, and deposition summaries
Communicate professionally with clients and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research and analyze statutes and case law
Review and analyze client documents and productions from opposing counsel
Participate in business development efforts
Supervise remote paralegals and legal assistants
Prepare and present MCLEs for attorneys and staff
Enter billable time accurately and promptly
