MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in English or English-related area such as Literature, English Education, Composition, or Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages from an accredited college or university; demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, correctly and effectively. Previous experience in distance learning with Brightspace (D2L) is preferred.

The Adjunct Instructor will report to the Department Chair or his/her designee and perform the following duties: 

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Provide in-person, hybrid, or online instruction for composition courses and possibly other courses.
•    Evaluate student performance.
•    Participation on departmental, division-wide, and college-wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported.
•    At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary is $1,523.00 per contact hour.
