Adjunct Instructor-Film Appreciation

• Deliver engaging lectures that cover film history, theory, and analysis.
• Facilitate discussions to aide in understanding of course concepts.
• Assign and grade writing assignments and exams to assess student understanding.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback and support to help students succeed academically.
• Cultivate an inclusive classroom environment that values diverse perspectives and promotes respectful dialogue. 

Education/Experience:

• Master’s degree in Film Studies, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
• Prior teaching experience, especially at the college level, is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations:

• Strong need for daytime classes, limited evening sessions available. Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend courses may be available in Lincroft, Western Monmouth and Higher Education Centers.
• Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
