Job summary:


            Monitor all cases referred by Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP). Perform duties such as arranging meetings, scheduling appointments, answering telephones, tracking client progress and ensuring client compliance with ASAP. This position includes keeping client files, creating computer spreadsheets and helping support clients navigate the ASAP process.

Qualification: 


Requirements:



  • Four (4) years’ experience in office administration including experience in filing, chart management, Microsoft Office, customer service and communications.

  • Ability to:

    • Pass a drug screening and State of Alaska background check

    • Qualify for SFA’s commercial automobile insurance



  • A current valid driver’s license


Preferred:



  • Associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field

  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills

  • Punctuality and consistency in reporting to work

  • The ability to:

    • Be a team player, demonstrate motivation, exercising discretion and dependability

    • Build rapport with clients, community partners and staff

    • Establish and maintain clear therapeutic boundaries

    • Maintain confidentiality and treat everyone with dignity and respect



  • Proficient computer skills and fluid use of electronic communication tools


 


Job responsibilities:



  • Coordinate ASAP related services to ensure ASAP compliance and client support including, but not limited to arranging meetings, scheduling appointments, answering telephones, completing assessments for referral, tracking client progress, and ensuring client compliance with ASAP requirements and court-ordered conditions

  • Monitor all ASAP clients as they navigate the ASAP process

  • Manage accurate client files within AKAIMS including, but not limited to: documenting case activity, updating client progress and reporting to ASAP multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Refer for client breathalyzer tests and/or urinalysis tests according to SFA policy and State of Alaska ASAP standards as needed

  • Create and distribute reports on client outcomes
