Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Knowledge of administrative and business management policies and procedures. Ability to utilize data management applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Panther Mart, and PeopleSoft Financials systems. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Effective project management and organizational skills.

Georgia State Law currently seeks applicants for the position of Administrative Specialist II. Reporting to the College’s Business Affairs Manager, the Administrative Specialist provides administrative management and programmatic support for full and part-time faculty, academic programs, and various faculty committees. Daily office operations include coordination of meetings and events; database management; record-keeping; expenditure review; and management of registration, travel, and reimbursement processes. The Administrative Specialist may be expected to perform cross-functional duties for other areas of the College.
The employee will be expected to work a schedule of 8\:30 am to 5\:15 pm Monday-Friday, with a meal break, and may be asked to work occasional additional hours to support specialized events. One remote workday per week will be considered after the first 3 months of employment.
