The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Technician (AKA: Adult Basic Education Jr. Navigator) at CNM plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive assistance to the ABE Department. The position's responsibilities include administering and scoring standardized student assessments, facilitating student intake, advisement, and registration in compliance with the requirements of ABE federal and state-funded grants. The technician contributes insights to help develop best practices for ABE departmental operations, focusing on assisting students in obtaining their high school equivalency and/or learning English as a second language. This position assists with administrative tasks, such as maintaining student records and organizing educational materials.
