Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner)

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment & Treatment

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient outcomes.
  

Collaborative Care

• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines and physician collaboration.
  
• Ensure continuity of care through proper follow -up and patient management.
  

Diagnostic Testing & Procedures

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including:
  • Laboratory testing
    
  • EKGs
    
  • X -rays
    
• Perform clinical procedures such as:
  • Suturing
    
  • Wound care
    
  • Injections
    
  • Immunizations
    
  • Minor in -office treatments
    

Preventive & Patient Education

• Counsel patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, family planning, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  
• Provide education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare practices.
  
• Promote patient engagement and long -term health management.
  

Leadership & Team Support

• Collaborate with medical assistants, technicians, and support staff to maintain efficient clinic operations.
  
• Support a positive, patient -focused clinical environment.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical record systems.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan PA or FNP license.
  
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
  
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient assessment skills.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast -paced, team -oriented healthcare environment.
  
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem -solving abilities.
  
• Commitment to compassionate, patient -centered care.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics preferred.
  
• Experience working in high -volume or multi -specialty clinic settings.
  
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
