Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Neurology

The Neurology Care Clinic at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO is seeking to hire an additional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Mosaic Life Care, a physician-led, multi-specialty health-care system, currently in search of a Neurology ARPN to join our cooperative, organized, and friendly practice in St. Joseph, MO. This position offers the security of joining an established health system with the lifestyle of practicing medicine in a comfortable and close-knit community.
The clinic currently provides outreach services at the following locations: In Missouri-Albany, Maryville, and Cameron. In Kansas-Atchison, Sabetha.  The current neurology team consists of 4 MD/DO, and 1 APP.

NP Requirements: 

• Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree or graduate of accredited PA program
   
• Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
   
• Current DEA licensure

Additional Qualifications:

• Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals 
• Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate care plans, modifying as indicated 
• Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families and members of the health care team
