Responsibilities:
*Perform general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, and echocardiogram studies independently.Qualifications:
*Associate’s degree in related health science or graduate of an accredited program preferred in related field.
*New Mexico Sonography License required.
*Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
Must have two (2) of the following qualified modalities as an initial licensure:
Diagnostic Sonography:
Abdomen (AB)
Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
Breast (BR)
Pediatric Sonography (PS)
ARRT (S)
Vascular Sonography:
Registered Vascular Technology (RVT)
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
ARRT (VS)
Cardiac Sonography:
Adult Echocardiography (AE)
Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
