Aerospace Application Engineer II

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• ​​Partner with customers to understand their intermediate technical needs and provide solutions  

• ​Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers 

• ​Complete intermediate preliminary design reviews for new business opportunities 

• ​Complete intermediate critical design reviews for new product development 

• ​Create and maintain engineering documentation (models, drawings, and procedures) 

• ​Support the sales team by providing technical information and product demonstrations 

• ​Process engineering change requests internally and externally 

• ​Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, sales)  

• ​Engineering approver for engineering documentation reviews 

• ​Partner with 3rd party suppliers as needed to support product gaps  

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline 

• 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in a customer-facing role 

• with a Master's degree counting as 2 years of experience 

• 2 years’ experience with CAD and engineering software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX) 

• 2 years’ experience in product design, including experience with complex surfaces, assemblies, and kinematics 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Travel: 

• 10% domestic and international
