After School Site Supervisor - Cleveland

Are you passionate about providing quality experiences to children in the Cleveland, TN area? Join the YMCA team as a part-time After School Site Supervisor and make a positive impact on children's lives.

The shifts we are hiring for are the following:

• Monday-Friday (required to work every day) 2:45 pm-5:45 pm
• Monday-Friday (required to work every day) 3:15 pm-6:15 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement daily lesson/activity plans
• Supervise children and program activities
• Conduct parent conferences and maintain positive relationships
• Maintain program site and equipment
• Maintain program records & documentation
• Make ongoing observations and evaluations of each child
• Attend YMCA events, staff meetings, and training
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma required; college experience preferred
• Previous experience working with diverse populations of elementary school children in group settings preferred
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate programming
• Bilingual (Spanish/Russian/Ukrainian/English) a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sufficient agility and mobility to perform job responsibilities
• Ability to participate in indoor and outdoor activities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
