Job Description - Aftermarket Product Sales Manager

Eaton\u2019s Aerospace Sector, Fuel Motion Control Systems Division is currently seeking a Product Sales Manager \u2013 Aftermarket to join our team. This position will be responsible for the aftermarket sales for both our Jackson, MS business (hydraulic pumps and motors). The Jackson facility has approximately 500 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $125000 - $184000 a year. This position is also eligible for a sales incentive program.\n\nThis role is aligned to a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office, and 2 remote. The role is not travel based in nature, but has occasional travel with the sales team quoted at around 10%.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Product Sales Manager \u2013 Aftermarket (PSM) is a member of the site leadership, and conducts market assessments, monitoring, and analysis to develop and manage a high-quality portfolio of aftermarket opportunities that support each facility\u2019s intake and sales goals. The PSM also secures new aftermarket business aligned with Fuel Motion Control\u2019s strategic and portfolio objectives.\n\nIn this function you will: \n\n\n * Interface with Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Distribution teams to meet the present and future needs of the aftermarket to ensure resources are aligned with aftermarket requirements and growth goals\n * Identify and capture key strategic initiatives, new business opportunities, and Retrofits, Modifications and Upgrades (RMUs) that align with the organization\u2019s goals for growth\n * Lead and negotiate all major customer proposals and RFQs\n * Monitor key customer, aircraft platform, and part number buying indicators including MRO budgets and future system upgrade plans\n * Provide accurate and timely market and competitive intelligence, including pricing and competitive standing\n * Develop sales support materials, promotion, and training for global campaigns on targeted aftermarket programs\n * Develop and maintain aftermarket pricing strategies for the site\n * Monitor order/sales/market trends\n * Provide forecast for spares, LRU and repairs by customer in support of SIOP processes\n * Lead the aftermarket top line sales and orders profit planning at the site\n * Provide product support and resolves customer issues\n * Support finance group for monthly financial forecast processes\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution. \n\u2022 Minimum five (5) years\u2019 experience negotiating and working directly with airline, military, and MRO customers. \n\u2022 Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. \n\u2022 This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). \n\u2022 U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. \u0027Green Card Holder\u0027), Political Asylee, or Refugee. \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Jackson, MS will be considered.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelors in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution preferred. \n\u2022 Prior experience in Aerospace Aftermarket. \n\u2022 Broad knowledge of the Aerospace industry and aerospace aftermarket.\n\n## Position Criteria:\n\n\u2022 Strong commitment to Eaton ethics and values. \n\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and presentations to Eaton and customer senior leadership. \n\u2022 Ability to interface at all levels and the ability to influence others\u2019 decision making. \n\u2022 Strong analytical skills and business acumen. \n\u2022 History managing customer relationship and navigating complex customer issues. \n\u2022 Experience negotiating proposal and pricing with aftermarket customers. \n\u2022 Market and customer analytics skills. \n\u2022 Technical and product knowledge. \n\u2022 Practical understanding of finance terms / principles and how they are applied. \n\u2022 Knowledge of fundamental marketing concepts and strategies. \n\u2022 Strong communication and influencing skills\n\n#LI-CD1\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
