Palmetto Preschool is seeking a dependable, energetic, and caring Part-Time Preschool Floater to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is looking for a consistent afternoon schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday


• 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM


• Part-Time, Year-Round Position


• No Nights or Weekends

As a Floater, you'll assist in multiple classrooms throughout the day, helping teachers provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities:

• Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities


• Engage with children through play, learning activities, and routines


• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment


• Assist with supervision during outdoor play, meals, and transitions


• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers


• Follow all company policies and licensing requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred


• Must meet South Carolina childcare licensing requirements


• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented


• Strong communication skills


• Genuine passion for working with children
