Agg Plant Superintendent

Purpose of Position:

Manage safety, production, maintenance, and personnel at the Pendleton  aggregate plant.  Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with imi Aggregates policies and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operations of the aggregate plant, including safety, production and maintenance; manage union and non-union employees.


• Manage team through training, motivation, and measuring goals.


• Support interaction and communication between employees, customers, and vendors.


• Manage and resolve customer issues.


• Help develop the annual business plan and manage with it as a guideline.


• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment and areas.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred; or combination of education and relevant experience.


• Experience in all facets of production processes and maintenance.

• Experience in stone production.

• Must be safety oriented and experienced with MSHA regulations.

• Previous management experience preferred.

• Computer skills, familiar with Google Suite.

• Ability to build and follow budgets.

• Work with onsite ready mix, and asphalt plants. 

• Work with and be part of the sales team.

Compensation:

Dependent on experience and qualifications.
