AI Business Solutions Lead at Metro Elevator

Location:

• Palm Beach Gardens, FL - This is primarily an in-office role, but hybrid flexibility is possible after training and demonstrated proficiency.

Overview:

Metro Elevator is seeking an AI Solutions & Enablement Manager to identify and solve business challenges through the practical use of AI, automation, and emerging technology. This is a hands-on, business-facing role for a resourceful problem solver who can take an ambiguous challenge, determine the best approach, and move quickly from idea to implementation-whether by building a solution, leveraging existing technology, or engaging the right external partner.

Working closely with senior leadership and teams across the organization, this individual will identify high-impact opportunities, develop practical AI solutions, and teach employees how to use AI to improve productivity and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership and teams across the organization to identify business problems, inefficiencies, and opportunities where AI or automation can create meaningful value.


• Take ideas from concept to implementation by researching solutions, testing approaches, building prototypes, and determining the best path forward.


• Build and implement practical AI solutions, including workflows, custom AI assistants, agents, automations, prompts, and other tools that improve productivity and decision-making.


• Teach employees across functions how to incorporate AI into their daily work and develop AI Champions who can help expand adoption throughout the organization.


• Maintain and prioritize a pipeline of AI and automation opportunities based on business impact, scalability, cost, and ease of implementation.


• Research and evaluate AI platforms, agencies, consultants, and technology partners and recommend whether Metro should build, buy, or outsource a solution.


• Develop relationships with local colleges and universities and establish an AI-focused internship program that gives students hands-on experience solving real business challenges.


• Measure the impact of AI initiatives through tangible results such as time saved, manual work eliminated, improved processes, increased capacity, and better decision-making.

Qualifications / What We're Looking For:

The right candidate may be an experienced professional, entrepreneur, recent graduate with exceptional ability, or someone with an advanced degree such as an MBA. More important than years of experience is a demonstrated ability to think critically, learn quickly, and use AI to solve real problems.

• Exceptional intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving ability.


• Strong business instincts and the ability to quickly understand how different areas of an organization operate.


• Hands-on fluency with generative AI and emerging AI tools, with the ability to personally build and test practical solutions.


• A strong bias toward action and comfort working through ambiguous problems without a predefined solution.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain AI concepts in practical terms to non-technical employees and executives.


• An entrepreneurial mindset and a natural tendency to ask, "Is there a smarter way to do this?"


• Strong academic achievement, relevant business or technology experience, or other evidence of exceptional capability.


• Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.


• Existing relationships with South Florida colleges and universities, or experience developing university and internship partnerships, is a plus.
