PURPOSE: The purpose of this job is to support the development, management, and execution of the organization's artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives.
JOB DUTIES:
Develop and execute an organization-wide AI strategy and implementation roadmap.
Identify, evaluate, and implement AI solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and business processes.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and measure the effectiveness and business impact of implemented solutions.
Develop and maintain organizational AI policies, procedures, and responsible-use guidelines.
Establish standards for AI usage, data privacy, information security, and confidentiality.
Establish processes for evaluating and approving AI tools and applications.
Educate employees and serve as an internal resource on AI capabilities, effective prompting, responsible use, and practical business applications.
Partner with departments to identify role-specific or software-specific AI opportunities and support adoption.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience with implementing technology solutions, managing projects, or supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Practical knowledge of generative AI technologies, large language models, Python and JavaScript, and business processes.
Strong communication, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage initiatives and collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Professional demeanor
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass post offer employment testing
Ability to pass post offer drug test
Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification
Ability to travel to construction jobsites within the state of Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin (expected travel 2-3 times a month, limited overnights expected).
This is an onsite role. Must have the ability to report to our Des Moines, IA office Monday – Friday.
