Who we are looking for

As an AI&T Technician specializing in Contamination Control and ESD, you will be responsible for ensuring flight hardware is assembled, integrated, tested, and handled to the highest standards of cleanliness and electrostatic protection. You will play a critical role in protecting spacecraft hardware throughout manufacturing, integration, and test operations.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute contamination control and ESD requirements during spacecraft assembly, integration, and test activities.


• Perform handling, cleaning, packaging, storage, and transportation of sensitive flight hardware.


• Maintain cleanroom compliance and enforce contamination control best practices.


• Verify ESD workstations, grounding systems, wrist straps, tooling, and equipment meet established requirements.


• Support spacecraft integration, environmental test campaigns, and production operations.


• Conduct inspections for cleanliness, foreign object debris (FOD), and ESD compliance.


• Maintain accurate manufacturing records and documentation.


• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.


• Support first article builds, prototype hardware, and production spacecraft.


• Promote a culture of workmanship, accountability, and mission success.

What It Takes

• 12+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.


• Experience working in cleanroom environments and following contamination control procedures.


• Experience implementing and maintaining ESD controls for sensitive electronic hardware.


• Ability to read engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.


• Experience handling flight-quality or mission-critical hardware.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting spacecraft, satellite, launch vehicle, or aerospace production programs.


• Familiarity with ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements.


• Knowledge of contamination control standards used in aerospace applications.


• Experience supporting environmental testing, including vibration and thermal vacuum testing.


• Experience in AI&T, manufacturing, or production operations for spaceflight hardware.


• Certification or formal training in contamination control, cleanroom operations, or ESD compliance.
