How you'll contribute:

A Aide, Nursing who excels in this role:

• The Aide, Nursing provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.

• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.

• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.

• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.

• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.

• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.

• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Experience: Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.

Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.
