Al Rahmah Nursery Teacher

Job Purpose:

Nurture and develop the knowledge, abilities and social skills of children between the ages of two and five years and help to prepare them for primary school education.

Job Description / Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and implementing lessons/work schemes
• Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
• Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.
• Organizing and supervising play and work activities
• Liaising with parents/guardians and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors
• Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
• Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and child development specialists.
• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and needs, determine their priorities for their children, and suggest ways that they can promote learning and development.
• Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration.
• Maintaining records
• Monitoring and recording progress

The job requires an enthusiastic, imaginative and energetic individual capable of gaining the full potential from each child.
