About the Role
As Support Staff at Alexandria’s House, you help create a safe, structured, and nurturing home for young mothers and their children. This maternity group home supports young parents who are building stability, parenting skills, and independent living capabilities.
This role is centered on human connection, consistency, and mentorship. You’ll build trusting relationships with residents while maintaining clear professional boundaries—offering encouragement, guidance, and a steady presence through day-to-day challenges.
Support Staff use a positive youth development approach, helping residents practice life skills, daily routines, and healthy decision-making in a supportive environment. This is also a strong entry-level role for individuals interested in housing, family services, or nonprofit work, with opportunities to grow within the organization.
