Job Title: American Sign Language Interpreter

Location: 4494 Palmer Rd N, Bethesda, MD 20814

Duties:

• Provide sign language interpreter services to facilitate communication for command Deaf and Hard of Hearing employees and functions. 
• Interpret any conversation, meeting, training session, interview, or other requested event, including providing oral interpreting to employees who do not use sign language.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, with a deep understanding of the grammatical structures and nuances of both languages.
• Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in ASL Interpreting, Deaf Studies, or a related field. Alternatively, hold relevant certifications or credentials from recognized interpreting programs.
