Job Description - Analyst I

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Monitor the availability, performance, and operational health of ATM, ITM, Teller Cash Recycler, and Instant Issue Debit Card systems.

  • Coordinate vendor maintenance, service activities, invoice review, and issue resolution.

  • Monitor cash levels, perform cash forecasting, and coordinate cash replenishment activities.

  • Create, maintain, and analyze reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.

  • Analyze operational and transactional data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support business decisions.

  • Develop and maintain reports, data visualizations, and key performance indicators using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

  • Research and resolve deposit exceptions, image quality issues, transaction discrepancies, and processing exceptions.

  • Support fraud investigations, disputes, audits, and legal requests through research, evidence collection, and documentation.

  • Perform reconciliation, settlement, exception research, journal voucher preparation, and month-end reporting activities.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, testing, maintenance activities, and on-site vendor support.

  • Maintain departmental procedures, operational documentation, and records; serve as a backup for departmental functions and projects.


REQUIREMENTS


Education:



  • High School diploma or equivalent


Experience: 



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a credit union, bank, financial services organization, technology support role, or operational support environment.

  • Experience analyzing information, troubleshooting problems, and resolving operational issues.


Any applicable system or program knowledge: 



  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Microsoft Windows 11 Operating System

  • Jack Henry Banking platforms preferred

  • NCR and Hyosung ATM platforms preferred

  • Relational database concepts preferred


Licensure(s)



  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to branch and ATM locations


Additional Requirements



  • Experience responding to operational incidents, service outages, or high-priority business disruptions.

  • Ability to create and maintain procedures, technical documentation, operational reports, and process documentation.

  • Understanding of network infrastructure, connectivity, and protocols.

  • Understanding of USB, serial, network-connected, and wireless peripherals.

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, driver, and peripheral integration issues

  • Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 lbs.

  • Vision abilities including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

  • Performs repetitive routine tasks.

  • Withstand moderate amounts of stress.

  • Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.

  • Perform tasks that vary little from day to day.

  • Implements others’ decisions/procedures with little judgment required.

  • Must relay information orally.
