POSITION PROFILE


Leveraging Process Improvement tools and techniques, design, develop, document and assist in implementing standard processes working with Process Improvement Managers and Field leaders as needed. Work with field resources, process leadership and other process analysts to solicit input for changes to specific processes. Provide ongoing guidance and Process Improvement support to assigned function.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leverages Process Improvement tools and techniques to design, develop, document and assist in implementing standard processes.

  • Works with field resources to solicit input for change to specific processes.

  • Drives implementation of standard processes through the field team as directed by Process Improvement Manager or Sr. Manager.

  • Documents process changes, enhancements and flows as needed.

  • Works on specific cross-functional process issues as directed.

  • Completes regular visits to field operations supported to evaluate performance, solicit input, and provide two-way communication and feedback.

  • Regularly reviews process flow and metrics as directed to determine and drive changes to improve the efficiency of the process.

  • Assists Process Owner in completion of detailed analysis and trend information.

  • Prepares presentations and attend operations reviews as directed by Process Owner.

  • Provides support and input into various RICOH corporate initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)



  • Four year college degree preferred or equivalent business experience in business-to-business environment.

  • Minimum of three to five years of business experience required.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in RICOH process area or cross-functional process analysis experience preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES



  • Must have excellent analytical ability.

  • Must be able to work in a matrix managed environment.

  • Must have general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

  • Possess ability to apply process improvement concepts and principles.


WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS



  • Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

  • Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction. 

  • Prepare, provide and convey diversified information.

  • Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.).

  • Moderate dexterity

  • Regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.
