Job Summary

Provides support to Support Hub Divisions with Position Control activity under Oracle Cloud. Collaborates with HR, Finance, Resource Strategy, and other departments to administer position control to applicable departments across MNPS. The Analyst will coordinate with Operations Division to monitor aggregated data and engage in support for monthly finance review and annual budget planning. This role will also support with budget reviews with a focus on analyzing and understanding SH budget data.

What you will do
  • Provides support to applicable Support Hub Divisions with Position Control activity under the enterprise system.
  • Coordinates with Operations Division to monitor aggregated data and engage in support for monthly finance review and annual budget planning.
  • Collaborates with HR, Finance, Resource Strategy, and other departments to administer position control.
  • Logs and screens position control requests for accuracy and completeness.
  • Creates and updates positions in the enterprise system.
  • Assists in budget review by preparing reports and projections.
  • Compiles regular reports to reconcile accounts and FTE; communicates with departments to reconcile reports.
  • Builds systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate submission of PCR requests with regular reviews to identify and address any errors
  • Support reconciliations of position, FTE, and funding strings; drive root-cause analysis and preventive fixes for recurring errors.
  • Identify and communicate PCR and staffing trends (e.g., chronic vacancies, funding misalignments, seasonal spikes) to inform staffing plans and budget amendments.
  • Collaborates with HR and Finance staff on Position Control module issues or upgrades.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of payroll, budget, or human resources experience Required

Skills and Abilities
  • High proficiency in payroll, HRIS, or other specialized computerized reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of financial and HR record-keeping methods, practices, and terminology.
  • Ability to maintain technical records, analyze/report data, and interpret/communicate policy and procedure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Equivalency

    Starting At: $82,469.85

    Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
