Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for outpatient surgical procedures in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center
Administer general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and regional anesthesia techniques as appropriate
Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluations for ASC patients
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and manage post-anesthesia recovery
Collaborate with plastic surgeons and pain management specialists to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Maintain current knowledge of anesthesia best practices and ASC protocols
Exercise full clinical autonomy in anesthesia care decisions
Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
DEA certification
Comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Preferred Qualifications
Pain management fellowship training (expands case mix opportunities but not required)
Previous ambulatory surgery center experience
Experience with plastic surgery anesthesia
