• Deliver solutions for customers by identifying how the Products can be implemented at their sites to meet their business needs.
• Collaborate onsite with the client to install our the products.
• Provide effective recommendations and consult with client through a firm understanding of the current software suites, applications, and integrations as well as the desired outcomes.
• Provide technical customer support via telephone, email, or by other electronic communication methods.
• Diagnose performance issues by evaluating complex bugs and utilizing that information in the development and testing of solutions.
• Help facilitate the sales process by communicating how the products can be implemented or modified to fulfill a customer’s needs
• Collaborate with internal project teams to help define, develop, and introduce new software applications.
• Develop and deliver presentations regarding the technical aspect of our applications and provide training to internal and external stakeholders Secondary Functions
• Keep management informed of any problems, competitor issues, or other factors affecting our products and make recommendations for improvements/changes.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Support effective working relationships with our staff and with a network of technical resources.
• Support colleagues in related product areas via awareness, collaboration, information exchange, providing backup support, and assistance as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements/Qualifications Education/Experience:
Must have a high school diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience with programming and configuring Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field preferred.
Required Skills/Competencies: - Comprehensive understanding of system networking, hardware and software interactions allowing for the development of solutions to complex technical issues.
- Experience working with human machine interfaces (HMI) on CNC machines and factory floor equipment
- Proficiency in software applications required in the performance of job duties (Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, etc.)
