Full-time, day shift position. This position is hybrid and is expected to work onsite a couple days per month, less than 25%. When working onsite you will work out of 8501 Excelsior Dr.

We are seeking an Applications Analyst-Radiation Oncology to:

  • Serve as support for Radiation Oncology applications, including Varian ARIA, RayStation, RayCare, and related clinical systems, ensuring system availability, stability, maintenance, and lifecycle management across both Photon and Proton treatment environments.
  • Partner closely with clinical, physics, dosimetry, research, and operational teams to understand workflow requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support safe, effective patient care processes throughout the oncology treatment lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate complex implementations, upgrades, integrations, and validation activities, including software releases, server migrations, interface development, cybersecurity remediation, and regulatory or operational readiness efforts.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting for highly specialized clinical technologies, analyzing incidents, resolving system issues, coordinating vendor engagement, and ensuring continuity of care for mission-critical Radiation Oncology systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, testing plans, and change management processes, while collaborating with infrastructure, security, HealthLink integration, vendors, and clinical stakeholders to ensure compliance, reliability, and long-term supportability of the application portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field Required
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree Required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of small to medium to scale solutions Required
  • Demonstrated success applying critical thinking to identify problems and opportunities Required
  • Demonstrated success teaching and mentoring Required
  • Demonstrated success using, configuring, developing, or supporting the applications, tools, and platforms relevant to the position Preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years progressively responsible experience in an IS applications field Preferred
  • Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods Preferred
  • Experience in information services or technology, direct clinical care, health care operations, or health care administration Preferred
  • Healthcare subject matter expertise including at least two (2) years of experience in a health system, academic medical center, or health payer organization Preferred
  • Experience supporting systems and/or operations in a 24x7 healthcare setting Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Vendor (e.g. Epic, Oracle, other) certifications as relevant for the position, per department guidelines Preferred
  • CPHIMS, PMP, ITIL Preferred
