Position Summary

Great Basin Staffing LLC is hiring Apprentice Plumbers for a commercial plumbing project at Charlotte ISD in Charlotte, Texas. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced plumbers while gaining hands-on experience with commercial plumbing systems and continuing to develop your skills in the trade.

Apprentices will assist with the installation of domestic-water, sanitary, waste, vent, and related piping systems while supporting daily production, material handling, rough-in, testing, and fixture installation.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed and experienced plumbers with commercial plumbing installations.


• Install and support domestic-water, sanitary, waste, vent, and related piping systems.


• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe under supervision.


• Assist with commercial plumbing rough-in and top-out.


• Stage pipe, fittings, fixtures, tools, and materials for daily production.


• Assist with system testing, labeling, and final fixture installation.


• Follow project drawings, layouts, specifications, and instructions from site supervision.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


• Follow PPE, fall-protection, and all project-specific safety requirements.


• Coordinate effectively with plumbers, supervision, and other trades to maintain production schedules.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Apprentice Plumber registration or ability to satisfy applicable project requirements before starting.


• Previous commercial plumbing or construction experience preferred.


• Familiarity with basic plumbing tools, materials, piping systems, and installation methods preferred.


• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and basic hand and power tools.


• Ability to follow drawings, instructions, and direction from licensed plumbers and site supervision.


• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.


• Pre-employment drug screening and background check may be required.


• Must satisfy applicable client and project onboarding requirements.

Compensation

$16.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time W-2 assignment with weekly pay through Great Basin Staffing LLC.
