Architect

We are growing and looking to fill an open Architect position!  If you are an experienced Architect who is excited to bring your skills to a new work environment and have experience working in a Design/Build company, we want to hear from you!

Job Purpose:

Perform Project Design and have excellent communication skills for client interface.

Duties:

• Maintain lead planning and design phase of project consistent with project development schedule
• Stay abreast of the latest code changes and communicate as needed
• Provide effective design solutions for clients
• Perform preliminary and final code reviews
• Multi task and prioritize projects as needed
• Continually refresh and update job knowledge
• Accompany Business Development on client meetings
• Perform building program
• Produce preliminary, schematic design and construction documents
• Coordinate designs
  • Structural
  • Civil
  • MEP
• Responsible for construction document quality control on assigned projects
• Periodic travel throughout the Midwest, for limited periods of time

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be a registered Architect
• Proficient in Revit
• Minimum 5 years experience working in Design Build environment
• Computer skills are required to maintain written communication with clients and co-workers (MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook)
• Understand project cost
