Area Leader- 2nd Shift

• Coordinating proper training for all employees in their lead group and instruct them as to how the work is
  to be performed.


• Assigning work to employees in their lead group and instructing them as to how the work is to be
  performed.


• Checks for special material and/or parts per shop procedure, before starting orders.


• Seeing that acceptable house cleaning is maintained in their area of responsibility, monitoring the
  amount of scrap and rework that occurs, seeing that the employees in their lead group maintain
  acceptable work habits and product quality.


• Assist the supervisor in writing a detailed tie-in for the oncoming shift, as necessary.


• Ensure that Company tools and equipment are properly used and cared for and that they are maintained
  properly.


• Inspect the quality of product.


• Requires daily open communication with supervisor.


• Reports problems to Supervisor.
