Eaton\u2019s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Assembler II. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $22.52 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * As an Assembler II you are responsible to build complete all department products as required to ensure Company productivity and performance metrics are met. \n * Required to assemble terminal blocks, solder, circuit breakers, lights, or special explosion-proof products including D2PB, EBM, EBMX, ECP, EGF, EIC, EID, EIH, EJB, ELPS, EMN, EPC, FLB, FLS, N2LPS, Receptacles, and XLC product lines. \n * Collaborate with Supervision and Assembly Group Leaders to execute released jobs in a timely, orderly manner.\n * Work with Engineering and Quality personnel.\n * Responsible for maintaining quality work in the preparation of assemblies.\n * Perform all duties of the group to maintain workflow and ensure quality standards and customer service requirements are met.\n * The Assembler II position will assemble EJB/ECP\u2019s larger than 120804, whereas smaller sizes will be assembled by the Cross-Functional Assembler position.\n * Check work for proper explosion-proof specification as prescribed; detect and segregate faulty material. Perform drilling and/or tapping operations as required with portable and hand tools such as electric drill, pneumatic or hand screwdriver, hammer, etc.\n * Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.\n * Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities such as minor maintenance that includes cleaning, inspection, minor lubrication and tightening loose bolts.\n * Follow prescribed or standard safety procedure.\n * Detect and report defective materials and faulty equipment operation and refer all unusual cases to proper supervision.\n * Document errors found in drawings, prints, production orders, or other paperwork used to produce customer orders, and recommend engineering changes and improvements.\n * Help maintain in the day-to-day maintenance of the M.R.S. (Material Replenishment System) and floor stock system as necessary and within established procedures.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\n * High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate. \n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
